Each November, the Odessa community comes together to kick off the holiday season at the Downtown Christmas Lighting Ceremony. Families can enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, live music, and festive activities as we gather downtown to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

Our volunteers spend hours putting up lights and preparing for Santa’s arrival, making this annual tradition possible.

This year, we’re inviting parade participants to turn their favorite movie—any movie—into Christmas for their floats. Join us as we light up Odessa.
